From the abstract: Midwife-led continuity of care was associated with several benefits for mothers and babies, and had no identified adverse effects compared with models of medical-led care and shared care.
The Centers for Disease Control has released the 2013 Breastfeeding Report Card. It is the most current place to get US breastfeeding statistics. It’s only 8 pages, and a manageable read for a government report.
